By using the Protagonist Test ("the site"), run by Built Confident, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 to use the site and at least 16 to join the email list. If you're under 18, use the site with a parent or guardian's permission.

2. For entertainment only

The quiz, results, scores, percentages and reports are for entertainment and general self-improvement inspiration. They aren't a psychological assessment and aren't scientifically validated. Nothing on the site is medical, psychological, financial, legal or professional advice. Don't make important decisions based only on your result.

3. Fictional characters

The characters referenced are fictional and belong to their respective rights holders. The site is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any film or TV studio, network, author or actor. Character names are used only to describe personality archetypes. Many of these characters do harmful, violent or illegal things in their stories. We don't endorse or encourage any of that, and the tips we share focus only on positive, legal behaviour such as composure, discipline and communication. The artwork on this site is original illustration inspired by general archetypes and doesn't depict any real person.

4. Email list

If you join the email list, we'll send you your report and free tips, strategies and occasional offers about confidence and self-improvement. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site. That includes submitting other people's email addresses, using bots or scripts, trying to break or overload the site, scraping it, or trying to access the dashboard or other people's data.

6. Our content

The quiz questions, written results, reports, design and artwork belong to us. You can share your own result card and link freely on social media. You can't copy or republish the quiz or its content commercially.

7. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free or that any tip will produce a particular result.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to £50 (or the local equivalent). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / STATE]. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections your local law gives you.
